The Freedom Methanol Recovery System will recover all the Methanol in your glycerol by-product of making Biodiesel Fuel. Keep in mind that when I say all, it can only recover what is bound in the glycerol. This is approximately 45% of the original methanol used. So let’s break it down using our original example of 100 gallons of feed stock and 20 gallons of methanol. After recovery, you will have 9 gallons of methanol, this will process another 45 gallons of feed stock. After recovery again, you have 4 gallons of methanol, enough to process another 20 gallons of feed stock, we could carry this all the way to ounces, but I think you get the point. With this example, you could process 165 gallons of feed stock, with 20 gallons of methanol, this would reduce your Biodiesel Fuel cost by 24 cents per gallon.
